Whew! Dodged a Bullet There

The repair shop did it (for $300, not 1k thankfully). I managed to recover my hard drive files, so of my stories and art have not been lost forever, and I've never felt more relieved (I've been figuratively biting my nails for the last few days, wondering if all my stuff has gone down the drain). Turns out, what most likely caused the hard drive fail was improperly restarting the PC by disconnecting the power cord, removing the laptop batteries, and then putting everything back the way it was a second later, instead of using CTRL + ALT + DEL when it become unresponsive (except that didn't work so I had no choice but to forcibly shut it down and restart it, I've seen people in my family do it all the time, nothing bad came out of it...until January 12th, the day I got that black screen of death. Hmm...I think that first guy had a point, maybe my computer is getting too old). 

Anyways, Chains Around The Heart is back on the schedule, and I am a bit paranoid at the moment about losing my stuff again so I've uploaded that to my Sta.sh, and I emailed the rest of my important stuff to myself, so I'd have a backup if anything like this happened again.

Well...now that my technical problems are over, I gotta get back to work.
