Nerd-artist23 here, writing this from my smartphone with a little help from Google voice typing.
My trip to the computer repair shop did not go well. The tech support guy there said he had to do something he called a scan of my drive or my laptop itself, to see what the problem was. I had to leave it there for a few days till he was done, he told me that would take a long while.
That was on Friday January the 15th, he was done with it on the night of Sunday the 17th. He said the data was unrecoverable; the problem appears to be with the head of the hard drive. Now, I’ve used that laptop for four years, I only dropped it twice (about four years ago) and I spilled tea on it twice too (first time was four years ago, second was three years ago), I know that’s not the case here, if dropping it or spilling tea damaged it, it would’ve broken down years ago. I don’t have a problem with overheating, I would’ve known if I did (I’ve dealt with overheating, I would’ve recognised the symptoms and I would’ve bought a cooling pad). I doubt it’s a virus, I wasn’t visiting any dodgy sites, wasn’t putting any disks or USBs into it, wasn’t downloading anything, except for some songs I bought on iTunes, but I’m pretty damn sure iTunes didn’t do anything. I even have the latest Norton anti-virus, and I know protection isn’t a hundred percent effective, but I couldn’t have gotten a virus if I wasn’t doing anything that could infect my computer. But the guy just said maybe my laptop was just getting too old.
So on Monday the 18th,I decided to go to another repair shop and see if the guy there could fix it. They had to do another…scan, and they told me if they could fix it the highest possible cost would be about 1k (aka $1000) in real life money. They told me they'd have the results ready by Wednesday the 20th, but when they didn't call, I called them, turns out they lied.
See...they didn't do repairs in store, they had to deliver their items for repair to another place that's about an hour away from my city to do them, they told me it got in today and they should have the results ready on Friday the 22nd or Saturday, maybe even Sunday. I'm pretty mad about being lied to, but it wasn't like I could say anything to the guy on the phone (it's not gonna get anything done faster if I put up a hostile attitude, plus if I pissed him off, he might be less inclined to help me if I needed anything from him later).
Now my wait begins...again. Nerd-artist23, out.

2017 Update
(Please note: if you don't play Runescape or if you've never spoke to/met me in-game, don't worry, this doesn't concern you, if you have...)
Well, this was long overdue. Partly 'cause I wanted to wait till the whole thing died down, till everyone cooled off (over me becoming notorious and known by everyone, even among the developers in the Runescape lore community for being an over-the-top troll who got too emotionally invested in NPCs made of pixels, who later became a right-wing nationalist that wouldn't shut up about how Trump would beat Hillary--I always knew he'd win, even as early as April of 2016). Partly because I've been rather busy
Art Feature: The Works of Constancelea
That's the theme of my first art feature, the works of this fellow DeviantART user.
So I'm sure you're wondering who she is. Well, for a start constancelea (https://www.deviantart.com/constancelea) is a professional artist and animator who graduated from Daemen College in Amherst, New York. When it comes to drawing, her gallery shows that she can draw in a variety of styles, from cartoonish...

News, Reviews n Responses
Huh...now that I say it out loud, it does sound rather catchy.
What'll it be, folks? News, reviews or responses?
Let's go with the first one, shall we?
If you're familiar with the small, small Runescape fandom, you'll know that getting noticed can be...a hard. If you're not, now you know getting known can be...hard for Runescapers fanfiction writers. There's simply not that many of us. Just go to Official-RuneScape (https://www.deviantart.com/official-runescape) and go to the literature section, you won't see that many writers, and if you exclude inactive ones, you get even less writers. Now compare the amount of stories they have to the amount of writers they have, clearly they have m
